Have any of you ever thought about what it would be like to step into someone's head, to know exactly what they're thinking and feeling, so that they could know what they think of you? Or maybe to resolve some conflict, because often when people are fighting they avoid saying things because it'll just make things worse. Thoughts?
Over the past 3 months that would have been very useful,but painful,Could you handle what they thought,would you really want to confront the truth...I'm not convinced.
Hmmm, it depends. But sometimes, I get curious as to what people know and what they think. But I can see where it might hurt you in the end.
Lol .. I'd always absolutely wished I could do that. hey it would save me a lot of heartache cos then I wouldn't bother making a fool out of myself when I tell someone I like them and hence wish to find out what they think of me. .. it would be total and utter bliss.

I'd either want to step in peoples' heads, or hear their thoughts, like ESP! That'd rock!

Oh boy, If I could hear what people really think of me, and they could hear what I think, disaster city. We'd be in to battles and arguments, and I think if that were possible for one day, I'd end up locking my self in the house and not speaking to anybody.

I wouldonly want to hear people's thoughts by choice, as in tuning in like a radio, and not a constant barrage without end. Oh, and while I'm asking, I'd like to ahve my cake and eat it, too.
I sometimes wish I could step into peoples' heads, especially during a conflict, arguement, etc. I think it would help to clear up lots of misunderstandings and things like that. I would only want to use it for that reason though, but even then, I still wouldn't think it necessary to use it often.

what if...you discovered someone had been cruelly leading you on concerning friendship, or even,
what you thought of as potential love how would you handle that and could you keep your gift a sceret?.
Man, if people could hear what other people thought. There'd be a lot more murders and murderers in the world? And a lot more jails? Lol?

Man, that's a tough one. I think I'd want to know because I'd hate to be led on, and that would honestly make it harder for me to trust the next nice person that seems as good as the person was or acted to be. But if I could know, well, I still don't think I'd actually hate the person who led me on, but I know I'd just be different toward them somehow, like not feeling like I could be as close. Actually, I'm kind of in that situation now, where I don't know what to think exactly. And I don't hate the person, but I don't feel like I could be as close, as in being in a serious relationship. And for the other question, I would really hope it would be the opposite; where it would help wars and stuff not to happen, I mean since you could already know what the other leader/person was thinking. I mean, if they wanted something, you wouldn't have to give in if it wasn't right, but maybe it would be easier to negotiate with/change the person's mind or something. Something like that. *smiles*

Hmm true it would be a horrible situation but at least you would be better prepared the next time.
and as for being in a politician's mind that to me is the ultimate nightmare,I couldn't handle their deceit and self importance,also if they were planning a war or invasion carrying that kind of knowledge around would drive me crazy.
I bet it would get horrible hearing everyone's thoughts after awhile. People would want to end it.
